ON COURT PHILOSOPHY
Kuya brings a unique approach that combines high-quality sport instruction with new play-based experiential learning. Every skill, drill, scrimmage, and team huddle is thoughtfully designed, not only to sharpen athletic ability but to cultivate life lessons in hard work, discipline, and the right attitude to grow together...all while having fun
OFF COURT PHILOSOPHY
Success is measured in character, leadership, and the ability to make a positive impact in their communities. Athletes are encouraged to mentor younger players, support peers, and contribute to community initiatives. Kuya’s quiet yet steady faith fuels this vision: to see every athlete recognize their God-given potential and walk in it with purpose.
MOTIVATING HIS ATHLETES
INCLUSION & SOCIAL JUSTICE
Yes, Kuya serves Toronto’s diverse neighbourhoods, focusing on Needs Improvement Areas (NIAs). Through Greater Than The Game, youth are trained not only in basketball excellence but also in self/others/team leadership, discipleship, and community service. He empowers them to take ownership of their spaces and foster positive change, guided by the principle and mantra of Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges.
